Pasta with Salmon in Creamy Lemon and Beer Sauce
This is an easy pasta dish that works if you are cooking it for yourself, your family or you want to impress a special someone. It has 10 ingredients total and the salmon in beer and lemon cream sauce just works! Trust me.
Salmon Pasta (2 servings – can easily be doubled if neccessary) (takes 30 mins.)
300 g (10 oz) salmon filet (skin on one side)
250 g (9 oz) fresh pasta (fettucine)
2 (big) tbsp butter
2 dl (1 cup) fresh grated parmesan cheese
1 ½ dl (½ cup) heavy cream
1 ½ dl (½ cup) beer (hefeweizen works best)
2 gloves garlic, finely cut
1 leek, cut in thin slices
½ lemon
2 dl (1 cup) green peas
handful of flat leaf parsley (leaves only – for garnish)
